Dear Community Member,

I am pleased to introduce you to our new organization, The Chance Dobbins Sr. Charity.

The Dobbins family has served Merced Counties individuals with special needs for over 54 years. For three generations we have been providing shelter, food, clothing, and socialization activities to improve these individuals' quality of life. During these uncertain economic times, our special needs community is struggling with a lack of resources and aid to accommodate their basic necessities of life many times going without things that would greatly improve their quality of life. Our family formed this 501 c 3 non-profit to help supplement the ever-increasing needs of these individuals. It is in remembrance of a passed family member (Chance Dobbins Sr.),  who always had a vision to do all he could for this cause.

Everyone involved in this charity is a volunteer and every dollar goes to the cause. 

All donations are tax deductible. Listed below are several ways you can help.

• Monetary Donations: Every dollar makes a difference, helping us to supply essential services and support to those in need.
• Volunteering Your Time: From assisting with daily operations to participating in events, your time is one of the most valuable gifts you can offer.
• Expertise and Professional Services: If you have skills in counseling, healthcare, education, IT, or marketing, your knowledge can greatly benefit our community. Teach a class, offer advice, or help us spread the word about our mission.
• Donating Goods: Food, clothing, hygiene products, and household items are always needed. Your donations go directly to individuals and families who need them most.
• Fundraising: Help us organize fundraising events or campaigns. Your creativity and enthusiasm can lead to successful outcomes that fund our programs and services.
• Providing Spaces: Do you own a space that can be used for gatherings, cooking classes, or other events? Your generosity can host activities that enrich the lives of our special needs community.
• Event Sponsorship: Sponsor events or directly support special needs individuals. Your sponsorship can cover costs for essential activities and experiences.
• Transportation: Vehicles to transport individuals to activities and events like Club67 or field trips are indispensable. Your contribution can ensure everyone has access to these vital socialization opportunities.
